Euthyphro is a piece of dilemma which can be found Plato’s dialogue Euthyphro, where Socrates wanted to know that whether something is right because God commands it or God commands it because it is right. The ethical dilemma in Euthyphro emerges from arguing about nature of piety. In this piece of philosophical argument, Socrates points out that if there is existence of both of the options, then these two options will also be yielded together. The story is that Euthyphro is about to kill his father, while Socrates posed question about his decision, Euthyphro replied that rather killing his father will be a pious act and not killing him would be impious.
